Legion Design/Campbell & Associates, established in 1981, is a minority-owned consulting engineering firm, created to provide substantive solutions to meet the needs of the communities we serve.

We are a team made up of professionals who have expertise in evaluating, analyzing, delivering and communicating prudent, creative and advanced consulting services to government, public, private and non-profit entities.

By incorporating the needs of the client along with Legion Design’s experience, we provide quality services through hard work and communication at every stage of each project.  We dictate a set of quality controls that ensure the client superior service to meet their needs and bring about the highest level of value to its end-users.  We recognize the unique challenges of each project and are committed to respond with inventive planning and engineering services.

Our experience allows us to work as engineering design consultants during the pre-development stage, provide technical assistance during the permitting/site development and design phase, and provide construction administration (quality control) and support during construction, while maintaining a level of communications over the duration.  Services provided have included site evaluation and assessment, utility design (utility mosaics), permitting, civil and structural engineering for infrastructure design, rehabilitation and enhancement, and construction management/inspection.  Our skills have been demonstrated on various projects including bridges, highway systems, parking facilities, public spaces, water/wastewater facilities, transit systems, airports and site development projects.

In addition to the technical aspects of any project, Legion Design also incorporates outreach methods to ensure that all community stakeholders and policy-makers are engaged and participate in the process.  As members of organizations whose agendas are both technical and legislative in nature, we participate in processes that work to support the advancement of agendas that include capitol funding, project support and message development, and transportation initiatives that seek to improve the quality of life our client’s constituents.
